30 Days of Tennis Challenge – Day 5: Least favorite female’s player

Toughest call so far. Somehow, it’s even harder to openly dislike a woman than a man. Because girls have feelings. And WTA KADs too. That ruled out, at first, three of my primary picks. The other was Jelena Jankovic, but poor JJ. She’s not being the drama queen anymore because she’s not even getting enough TV exposure for it – she has even fallen outside the top-10 for the first time in twenty-five years.

So poor JJ. Hence, I’ve reached an agreement with myself. This is my pick, and was never more certain that I wouldn’t break anyone’s heart.

Juju. The polite rhyme will be "I like you not". Or something like

She has a Brazilian fan base that calls her “Federer on skirts” – reason #1

The hand incident – reason #2

The Grand Slam titles she denied to the uber-cute Kimmie – reason #3

The dozen wins against her most famous countrywoman – reason #4

The times she was drawn to face Dementieva during her comeback; the fact she won the matches – reason #5

She beat Yanina Wickmayer at the 2010 Australian Open – reason #6

Last minute addition: The Australian Open final she played against Kim. And that incident – reason #7

Is seven enough for you?

Also made the cut:

Three very popular Grand Slam champions. And JJ.

  5. Would be Henin, but she’s retired. So I pick Jankovic.

  7. Lays Guerrero says:

    Justine Henin, too.

Usually I like the most haters tennis players, ’cause is nice be diferent.
I like Maria, Serena, Jelena…all the most haters, is so nice be their fan!

But Justine is impossible, she is hateful.
